Dr Tharm Sook Keng
She’s been in small animal practice for 15yrs after graduating from Murdoch University in 2003. Having worked in local private practices and a few volunteer stints overseas, she started Island Veterinary Clinic in Singapore with partners in 2011. The area that excites her is surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic. Since 2008, she has gone for multiple workshops in Europe and SEA delving in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. In 2018, she was on the local committee of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) conference held in Singapore and organized the local scientific programme. In the same year, she also participated in a research cum neuter programme with the Himalayan Mutt Project in Manang, Nepal. She is very happy to be able to do what she does no matter where she is.
