Veterinarian
Licensed Vet Surgeon: ( 12 to 16 Hour weekly)

A permanent part-time veterinary surgeon position has just opened at Island Veterinary Clinic, an established first opinion small animal practice that prides itself on providing a personable experience for clients and their pets.
We serve a loyal and affable clientele. You will be joining a team of vets with varying interests and enjoy fantastic support from our veterinary nurses/reception team. No Sunday shifts or afterhours to be worked.

- 16 Hours work week either on a 3-4 days' work week , with a saturday morning or afternoon

We see a wide caseload ranging from routine consults, palliative care, prophylactic procedures to emergency medical and surgical cases. The clinic is fully equipped with Idexx suite (Catalyst, Procyte and Sedivue), digital radiography, dental radiography and Midmark dental machine, ultrasound and a user-friendly clinical software.
We strongly believe in the human-animal bond and want to help our clients achieve the best they can for their pets.
You should possess a recognised Veterinary degree that is registrable in Singapore with at least 3 years veterinary clinical experience and knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery. Being a good communicator who works well in a team is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose illnesses for Pets.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, surgery, and other therapies.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, etc.
- Administer vaccinations and other preventative medications.
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions.
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and behavior.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other clinic staff.
- May participate in research activities or community outreach programs
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards animals and their owners.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in veterinary software programs

Veterinary Nurse/Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a full time experienced veterinary nurse/assistant to join our busy small animal practice in Jurong East.
The successful applicant will
- have experience as a veterinary nurse/assistant
- be passionate and conscientious in their work
- be a team player
- be able to multitask and be able to do receptionist duties
- have training will be provided in running laboratory tests, blood taking, taking x-rays.
Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant work experience. 5-day work week inclusive of 1 weekend.
