Routine surgeries include sterilizations for both male and female animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters etc).
For male animals, the testicles are surgically removed. This helps to reduce aggression/straying/territory marking tendencies as well as lower the risks of prostate and testicular diseases.
In female animals, early sterilization (or removal of the ovaries and part of the uterus) help prevent mammary tumours. Pyometra (infection of the uterus), which is a common condition in females after their heat cycle, can be averted with early sterilization.
These surgeries are performed daily (Mon to Sat) and pets are discharged on the same day.
With all surgeries, fasting requirements are needed.
Please contact the clinic for an appointment in advance. A nominal amount of deposit fee is required when the appointment for surgery is scheduled.
